The Style
Eclipse is a short sleeve, easy wearing blouse that’s modest yet stylish.
This blouse design has a small button opening on the back neck and inverted pleats on the front neck.
The loose fit allows you to tuck it in at the waist and blouse it, or wear it out. Suitable to wear under a suit jacket or knitwear, or alternatively you can layer over it or wear it alone.
 
Pattern Size 8 to 24 This is the Paper Version.

  • Fabric Suggestions

    This style is great for lightweight soft fabrics; woven or jersey. Perfect for any kind of print or great in a plain also. It’s a style you can make again and again and make it look so different every time through your choice of fabrics and colours.

    ​Adaptations

    The pattern shows the short sleeve version, though you could lengthen or shorten the sleeve if you wish.

    Skill Level

    This blouse is aimed at an intermediate sewer. There’s nothing too tricky here though if you’ve made a garment or two before and your confidence is building. No zips, buttonholes, gathering, and just one button to sew on. The neck facings require a lightweight interfacing.

    Trims

    1. 30cm of 90cm wide fusible lightweight interfacing. Vilene H180 is a perfect weight. 2. 1x button for the back neck around 11mm.
